I have noticed that I have had quite a few family sessions this summer. I am so thankful that so many families have come to me to have me capture their family portraits. I am also so thankful for all the families who have come back to me again this year to capture another year of family portraits. This is one of the families that came back to me to capture their family portraits again and I felt so lucky to be working with them again.
They own land and farm it and wanted to have their session held on their property out in Genesee, ID. I have never been out to Genesee so this was the first for me.
This family’s property was a little outside of their town and I had to drive several dirt roads to get to their home. Driving down the old country dirt roads really brought me back to my roots. I spent part of my life out in the country and remember driving 45 minutes to an hour outside of town along dirt roads to get home. This session made me feel like I was at home with the dirt roads, open fields, and the blue sky. This family is also so sweet and they made me feel right at home. I loved getting to explore their land with them and to capture their family portraits. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
